• Sealed with food-grade natural beeswax

• Every Slate piece is uniquely handmade, showcasing slight variations and quirks that highlight its charm and individuality. These idiosyncrasies are a natural part of the handmade process and make each item truly one of a kind.
  
• To ensure durability, we treat all Jesmonite items with a natural beeswax sealant, which protects against water, food stains, and bacteria without any toxic chemicals or additives.
• For longevity, we recommend reapplying the beeswax sealant every six months—or sooner if the item is frequently used, especially with food. Regular maintenance will help preserve its integrity and keep your piece looking its best.
